Sea Life Centre Loch Lomond

We’ve been cutting out the ‘Adults Go Free’ vouchers from Kellog’s packs for ages now and one cold Spring Friday we decided to nip along for the morning. We’d been before and with the vouchers it’s a bargain but if you’re going try and make sure you have one of them otherwise it’s quite expensive for what it is and Deep Sea World is a better bet in my opinion.

There are a lot of exhibits that have been altered recently so tanks are really clean so you get a great view of everything. We managed to turn up at the right time for a few of the talks too which we hadn’t done on other visits – the otter feeding was great and we got cracking views and same with the shark feeding – amazing views of the sharks and the turtle which made Wee Stinker extremely happy. They also loved the rock pools and staff were happy to gently encourage them to touch without pushing.

The Sealife Centre isn’t the biggest around but it’s a decent size to keep toddlers amused and hold their attention.

The cafe is really good with amazing views over Loch Lomond and there’s a picnic area on the top floor so you can get outside and eat (and if you’re lucky you might see the sea plane coming into land).
